The Noble Public Library has planned a month full of fun and educational activities for “Maker Mondays” every Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. in April. All children are invited to attend the events; no registration required.
April 6 - Egg Babies - The OKC Zoo will bring eggs of all shapes, sizes, colors, for children to discover why they are a safe place for baby animals to grow. The program is part of the zoo’s offering of outreach events and is made possible thanks to a grant from the Oklahoma City Zoological Trust.
April 13 - Pillowcase Project - Representatives from the American Red Cross will work with children to complete the Pillowcase Project and build a personal emergency supply kit in a sturdy pillowcase. If you are unable to attend the program, the library has several books on natural disasters to explore the topic with chidlren.
April 20 & April 27 - Poetry - Children will learn about various types of peoms and become poets themselves for the last two weeks in April. For more poetry inspiration, the library offers all types of poetry books.
