reading dog with book

"Reading should not be presented to children as a chore or duty. It should be offered to them as a precious gift." — Kate DiCamillo

Sully the Therapy Dog will be at the Blanchard Public Library on Tuesday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in June for you to read with him. Sully won't judge if you read slowly or make a mistake. He just loves a good story. You may bring a book from home or pick one from the library shelves to share with him.

Reservations for a reading time are required in advance, and adults can sign you up to read by visiting the library or calling 485-2275.
