Save money with the smart use of coupons!

The popularity of couponing continues to grow as a way to save money while stocking the shelves of the pantry and refrigerator. The Moore Public Library is giving an opportunity for local shoppers to learn couponing skills from an expert, welcoming Patsy Smith, the “Consumer Queen,” of the website ConsumerQueen.com for a pair of programs later this month at the library.

Registration is required separately for each program. Couponing 101, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, in Room B of the library, is an introduction to some basics of keeping coupons and looking for the best deals.

Later in the week will be an Advanced Couponing program, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, in Rooms A and B of the library. This class goes into a little more detail to help bring consumers from regular shopper to coupon guru.
