Create unique trading cards at "Swap-a-Con"

The Blanchard Public Library presents “Swap-a-Con,” where creativity, art and trading cards combine for a six-week series beginning at 4 p.m. Monday, May 4. The series will continue at the same time on May 11 and 18, and June 1, 8, and 22, all taking place at the library.

Illustrator Matthew Paden has created the six-week program and will be at the library for each afternoon’s session. Either teen or adult participants are invited, and they will create a variety of illustrated trading cards that will be swapped with another library in the system at a future date.

All supplies will be provided by the library. Registration is required in advance to attend.

It’s a chance to experiment in different art mediums and learn innovative ideas while creating a unique set of trading cards.
