Meet local legislators at library breakfast presentation

Wake up in a good mood with conversation with local legislators as the library hosts an excellent Legislative Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. on  Friday, Feb. 27, in the Milburn Room. Everyone is welcome, so come with an open mind.

The library periodically hosts Legislative Breakfasts, in conjunction with the McLoud Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the McLoud Library. Area, state and national legislators and representatives from their offices are invited and many have attended past sessions.

It's time for toddlers twice in February

The McLoud Public Library welcomes the community to its Toddler Time Story Times, next taking place at 11 a.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 10 and 24, at the Milburn Room of the library.

The program is for children ages 1 to 3 and their caregivers and features activities for children and their caregivers, including listening to books, singing songs and other hands-on projects.

Registration is not required to attend.

The program generally is offered the second and fourth Tuesdays of most months. For more information on the programs, or other activities and services offered at the library, call 964-2960.
