Have a happy holiday with library craft events

jarsMcLoud-area teens are invited to the McLoud Public Library for its Jammed-in-Jars Holiday Craft event, an afterschool program at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9.

Attendees get to design a unique craft by repurposing a jar and giving it a holiday look. They’ll get to take their creation home to keep as a decoration or to give as a gift. The program is for teens ages 12 to 17, and registration is required so enough supplies are available.

Mom and Dad get their chance to show their artistic side also later in the week in a Adult Christmas Crafts event starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. As the name suggests, it’s a chance to craft and take home festive holiday creations. Registration is not required for this event.
