Get fit with help from the library

runningThe Noble Public Library is getting fit this spring, and summer, with an eight-week series Get Fit: Couch to 5K Training

Those interested in the group will meet weekly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays from May 12 through June 30 at Ken King Park in Noble.

The distance will start small and increase a little each week. Group members also will get a suggested training schedule and information about upcoming 5K runs they may want to try.

Teens ages 12 and up and adults are invited to attend, and registration is not required, though a signed waiver will be required for each participant.
