Come to our Children's Fall Clothing and Costume Swap

Princess byJill111Do you have clothes or Halloween costumes your children have outgrown?

The Moore Public Library has a great idea for a new home for those items, as well as a way to replace them at no cost. The library presents its Children's Fall Clothing and Costume Swap from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

The first step is to bring clothes and costumes to the library from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30. Those who donate will receive tickets based on the number of items they drop off on Friday that they then can use to shop at the sale Saturday.

In addition, there will be a table with free items available at the sale that won't require a ticket.

Suggested items to donate include socks, shoes, coats, pants, tops, dresses, baby blankets and gently used children's Halloween costumes.

Come back to coloring

Color byRobert CAdult coloring books seem to be everywhere these days, and the Moore Public Library is giving local residents a chance to get in on the enjoyment and artistic expression of coloring while also getting a look at all the library has to offer.

Our monthly Adult Coloring program next meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Story Time Room.

The goal of the class is to generate wellness, stress relief and brain stimulation. The class is for ages 18 and over, and coloring sheets and drawing tools will be provided, although participants may bring their own if they choose.

Registration is required in advance to attend.
