The McLoud Public Library is making memories and bringing literature into downtown McLoud and throughout the community with its programs and services.

The library hosts a number of events this month for all ages.

As cooler weather is finally on the way, it’s a perfect season for “How to Roast and Break the Perfect Cup of Coffee,” a workshop taking place at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Learn to roast your own coffee beans and more about the art of brewing your own cup of coffee.

For families with young children, Story Times take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and feature not just books but also STEM activities, songs, rhymes and a once-monthly Stress Relief Storytime, presented by a certified massage instructor. Activities are geared to children ages 4 and under.

The library also hosts a special Halloween Story Time Party the final week of the month at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. Children can come in costume and enjoy our regular story time activities, as well as pick up some candy.

Find out more about everything that is going on this month in McLoud through the online calendar or pick up a copy of our physical calendar inside the library.
