The following week, the library will host a Flamenco dance class at 6 p.m. Friday, July 19, in Rooms A and B. Erika Reyes from Everything Goes Dance studio will lead the program, showing the classical dance style that originated in southern Spain.

No previous dance experience is necessary for either class, and those interested in participating should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Teens or adults may participate, and advance registration is required.

The activities are part of the library’s continuing series of health literacy programs offered throughout the year.

These projects are funded through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
