Tween/ teen book clubs are back!

Join the discussion with the Newcastle Public Library and its variety of book clubs meeting monthly at the library.

September marks the return of the Tween and Teen Book Clubs during the school year!

This month’s meetings, program dates and selected topics are:

Brown Bag Book Discussion, 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 – The adult group will discuss Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch, and there will be some additional refreshments provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.

Tween Readers Book Club, 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 – Tween readers will look at Bummer in the Summer by Dan Gutman and enjoy refreshments provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.

Teen Book Club, 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 – Teens ages 12 to 18 will discuss Jack Cheng’s book See You in the Cosmos and also enjoy snacks provided by the Newcastle Friends group.

Copies of the books for each of the discussions are available for checkout at the front desk of the library.
