Norman Public Library Central welcomes the talents of author Doris Casey and local jazz artists Miss Brown to You to present “A Night of Music and Mystery” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the Oklahoma Redbud Room of the library.
Casey will discuss her newest mystery novel “The Wrong Girl.” She is the author of the Alafair Tucker Mysteries and is a two-time Arizona Book Award winner and Oklahoma Book Award finalist. Her novel “The Old Buzzard Had It Coming” was named as an Oklahoma Centennial Book.
Her presentation will give readers a look inside her new novel, which is centered on a teenage girl and her adventures since growing up on a farm in early 20th century Oklahoma.
Miss Brown to You, made up of Mary Reynolds and Louise Goldberg, perform an eclectic variety of music seeking to engage a broad palate of listeners. They have performed throughout the region, including multiple appearances at the “Lunch and Listen” series hosted month at Norman Public Library West.
All ages may attend the program, and no advance registration is required.
