The worlds of books, decorating and art will converge as the Purcell Public Library hosts the program “Sew a Reading Pillow,” at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.

Ages 18 and up may participate, and there will be two separate sessions of the program offered, each lasting two hours.

Machines and scissors will be provided but participants will need to provide some of the materials: one-half yard or one fat quarter of fabric times four; one 18 by 18-inch pillow form, a matching spool of thread and any trims (optional).

Space is limited, and registration in advance is required.
