Not going to be one of those movie buffs making it north of the border to the Toronto International Film Festival this month?

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library has movie enthusiasts wanting to stay closer to home covered with its own International Short Films Festival, taking place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, in Rooms A and B.

The event will feature screenings of several international short films, with local film experts leading discussions about the films and the film scene in general.

Either teens or adults may attend this activity. Space is limited, so advance registration is required.
