The Blanchard Public Library celebrates the upcoming Easter holiday with a String Wreath craft project designed to add color and decoration to local homes. It’s a two-part program, with the first session at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, and concluding at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 24.
Participants will learn to make colorful eggs using several basic items before stringing them together into a colorful wreath to take home. The library will provide supplies like ribbon, glue, balloons and scissors. Participants who have extra embroidery floss around the house can bring it to add to their design. Space is limited so registration is required in advance. While it’s primarily geared to be for adults, teens or tweens are invited to participate also.
For more information, visit the library or call 485-2275.
The Blanchard Public Library takes children on a continuing Lego Quest at its building challenge, an afterschool event next taking place at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5.

Registration is not required in advance, but we hope you get there early before space fills up!
