The Moore Public Library invites children and their caregivers to a variety of age-appropriate programs throughout the week at the library.
Most activities take place in the Story Time Room of the library, which is adjacent to the Children’s Department.
The schedule for February features:
Story Time, for ages 3 and up – 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24;
Come learn some basic computer skills at the Moore Public Library with some free computer classes.
The Moore Public Library has announced its schedule for free computer classes for February, to take place in the Computer Training Center of the library.
Registration is required for each individual class. To register, visit the library, call 793-4349, or register online at the library Events Calendar.
The Moore Public Library debuts its new free Beginner’s Yoga classes, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Mondays beginning Feb. 2, at the library.
Classes will be taught by a certified YMCA instructor and are designed to increase flexibility, balance and coordination with poses. The classes are for ages 18 and up, and registration is not required to attend classes.
The Moore Reads Book Discussion Group starts the new year with a new book to discuss at its next monthly meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the conference room of the library.
This month’s book selection is “Mrs. Poe” by Lynn Cullen.
The group meets the final Thursday of most months to discuss a different title read by each member of the group. Copies of the following month’s titles will be available from the Information Desk of the library.
Registration is not required to attend.
