Get an Introduction to Genealogy Research with the McLoud Public Library at a program at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at the library.

Kathryn Ramsay, Local History and Genealogy Resources Librarian for the Pioneer Library System, will be at the library to show off basics of researching family history and the online databases the library has to offer to help.

Public computers in the library will be unavailable after 5 p.m. the day of the program so they can be used for the class.

The workshop is for ages 18 and up, and registration is not required in advance to participate.
