McLoud tweens to get Holiday Cooking tips in afterschool program

The McLoud Public Library gives local tweens a lesson that might help their families in the kitchen during the holiday season with a Holiday Cooking edition of its After School Kids group, meeting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.

Beth Beshears of the Pottawatomie County OSU Extension Service will lead a program for ages 9 to 12. She will show off how to create a tasty holiday treat.

McLoud hosts year's final Toddler Time Dec. 16

The McLoud Public Library invites the community to its Toddler Time story time, next taking place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.

The program is for children ages 1 to 3 and their caregivers and features activities for children and their caregivers, including listening to books, singing songs and other hands-on projects.
