SOKC talking gingerbread at monthly TLC presentation

It’s time to touch, learn and create with the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s TLC sensory program for young children, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17.

The program features sensory crafts and activities for children ages 2 to 6. The theme for this month’s program is gingerbread, just in time for the holiday season.

SOKC library afterschool group to learn about painting

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s After School Kids (ASK) group will get an introduction to painting at its next meeting, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18.

Themed programs are planned for each of the group’s meetings, with activities geared to children from pre-K age to third grade.

Get creative with Lego animal machines at SOKC program

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library invites children in first through third grades to its “We Do Construction” Lego program, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Rooms A and B of the library, 2201 SW 134th St.

Children will work in teams of two to build a Lego animal machine that will be connected to a computer and then made to do different things with a software program.
