The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library is finishing up summer and moving toward the start of school with an Insect Adventure, from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
Representatives of the Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension will be talking all things insects and bugs at its OSU Insect Adventure Program. They’ll have a professional entomologist present about more than 25 species of living arthropods.
The event also features themed crafts and information about the library system’s databases that can help students and parents once school starts back up.
Space is limited, so registration is required in advance to attend.
