The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library pairs reading and fitness with several weekly classes offered at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
The library hosts a Pilates class at 6 p.m. Mondays, followed by an hour of Zumba at 7 p.m. And it’s also hosting a class on Beginning Yoga at 10 a.m. on Sept. 3. All classes are offered free of charge
Participants in the Pilates workout are encouraged to bring their own exercise mat to use during the program.
Each class is available for ages 12 and up. Registration is required in advance, and each participant must sign a waiver release beforehand, or for ages 12 to 17 have a form signed by a parent or guardian.
