Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of internal chinese martial arts? The Blanchard Public Library debuts a new series of Tai Chi classes for adults, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the library.
Participants will learn some of the basic movements of tai chi as a way to reduce stress while increasing balance and flexibility. The program is for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.
The classes are for ages 18 and up and are offered free of charge, and registration is required. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing for the workouts.
