Get an introduction to metal engraving at teen workshop

Are you interested in making something sentimental such as engraving a picture, shape or name on a piece of metal? Well, the Pioneer Library System’s new STEAM Power Maker Kits are bringing a new function for users of PLS hometown libraries!

One of the newest devices is a metal engraver that teens get a look at during an upcoming Blanchard Public Library program, Metal Engraving, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11.

Participants will be able to make their own designs on dog tags and other metal items that they then can take home as decorations or gifts!

The program is for teens in grades 6th through 12th. Space is limited so registration is required to attend. You definitely won't want to miss out on experimenting with our newest devices!
