The Blanchard Public Library presents another series of free tai chi classes for adults beginning in August.
Tai Chi sessions run at 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2, and Thursday, Aug. 4, and running through Thursday, Sept. 8.
Participants will learn some of the basic movements of tai chi as a way to reduce stress while increasing balance and flexibility. The program is for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.
The classes are for ages 18 and up and are offered free of charge, although registration is required in advance. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing for the workouts.
