Sharing stories, songs and quality time together are among the benefits from the Blanchard Public Library and its Family Story Time programs, offered several times a month.
In October, the library presents Family Story Time at 10:30 a.m. on Monday mornings, Oct. 3, 17, 24 and 31, as well as a special Saturday presentation of the program at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. And families are invited back to the library that day for a Family Movie Time at 1:30 p.m. for a free showing of a G or PG rated movie.
Story times include a variety of activities, from songs, rhymes, flannel board stories, music and bubble time, as well as a part of the program dedicated to crafts, sensory activities and play time for children and families to connect with one another.
Activities are geared to children of preschool age and their caregivers. Registration is not required to attend any of the events.
