Blanchard Public Library

The name is a little different but the idea is the same. The Blanchard Public Library has therapy dogs that are ready to listen to young readers in its “Bow-Wow Books” series on Tuesday afternoons in June.
Parents or caregivers may sign their child up for a 15-minute reading slot from 2 to 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 6.
It’s a chance for readers to build their confidence while reading to a new furry friend who won’t try to correct them or be impatient with them.
Registration for a time to read should be completed by calling the library at 485-2275.
