Three-part series on basic computer skills set

The McLoud Public Library is giving a look inside the world of computers for adults, at an upcoming series of classes in August. Registration is not required, but space is limited.

This is a three-part series of classes, with each class starting at 10:30 a.m. on successive Wednesdays. The schedule features:

Aug. 5 – Introduction to Computers, a start on computers including how to use the keyboard, mouse and more

Aug. 12 – Setting up Email, the basics on getting started with a free email account

Aug. 19 – Beginning Word Basics, an introduction to the word processing program Microsoft Word

The classes are for ages 18 and up and take place in the library’s Milburn Room.
