Blast off with Science Museum Oklahoma presentation

SRP BannerThe McLoud Public Library welcomes Science Museum Oklahoma for the program “Build a Better World – In Space” at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29. The program takes place in the McLoud American Legion Hall across the street from the library.

This program is specifically geared to children ages 11 and under. It will take a look at life while living on another planet. Participants will explore living in space during a hands-on program that will expand their horizons far into the galaxy.

Staff from Science Museum Oklahoma’s outreach wing travel outside the museum to provide programming in places like schools and libraries throughout the year. Each year’s library activities tie into both the theme for the annual Summer Reading Program as well as favorite books that relate to the program topic.
