The Moore Public Library is putting old items to good use in its Upcycle Sundays series, running at 2 p.m. on July 12, 19 and 26, in Rooms A and B.
Each week’s event will focus on a differnt item in your home that can be transformed for a new usage. The programs are for ages 18 and up.
The schedule includes:
Feb. 12 – Upcycle Jewelry: A chance to bring broken jewelry and give the pieces a new life
Feb. 19 – Upcycle Furniture: Lessons on turning old, broken furniture into exciting new pieces
Feb. 26 – Refashioning Clothes: How to redesign old clothes into a more fashionable item.
Registration is required separately for each of the programs.
