The final week of July means it’s time to start winding down another Summer Reading Program at the Moore Public Library, with two big programs scheduled for children and families.
“Spider-Man: Science and Superhero” comes alive at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 in Rooms A and B. Science Museum Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Museum Network will show some of the science behind this superhero and his supervillain counterparts. Children and families are encouraged to arrive early as it is limited to the first 300 participants due to space in the rooms.
The next day, it is time for dancing at the End of Summer Dance Party at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, again in Rooms A and B. Children are encouraged to come in costume and celebrate their summer with some fun tunes.
Readers have until August 21 to work towards their reading goal and bring in completed reading logs.
