As of July 11th, we are at 9.2 million steps - and counting! There's still time to sign up!
Fitness is the theme of this year's Summer Reading Program, and the Moore Public Library is encouraging health and fitness by creating a 15 million step challenge for the entire city. Sign up for the Climb Mt. Moore Challenge at any service desk in the library, and receive a free pedometer to track your steps, while supplies last.
Your individual challenge is to reach 100,000 steps by July 31st.
Track your steps, and report to the library when you have reached your 100,000 steps to be entered in the drawing for the grand prize. Every 100,000 steps equals 1 entry, so the more steps you log, the better your chances of winning!
Prizes will be awarded according to age groups, and the drawings for all three will be on August 1st. The Adult prize will be a Fitbit Alta. The Teen and Children's prizes will each be an Elevation Trampoline Park party package that includes a party for 12 at the Moore location, with 2 hours of trampoline fun, 2 pizzas, bottled water, and one Elevation Trampoline Park t-shirt.
Help us reach our total goal of 15 million steps for the summer!
