Health Fair may make back-to-school a little easier

FamilyStoryTimeThe days of summer vacation are numbered, but the Moore Public Library has an upcoming event to make going back to school seem better.

The Back to School Health Fair runs from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Rooms A and B of the library.

The day features free haircuts for children entering kindergarten through sixth grades, health screenings, health and wellness information booths and giveaways of a number of items.

All ages are invited, and registration is not required.

This event is funded through the Health Literacy Grant by Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma Literacy Resource Office and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
