Starting in October, the Moore Public Library's weekly Beginner's Tai Chi classes will begin a half-hour earlier to offer extended 1-hour sessions. The class will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturdays starting Oct. 8, while an Intermediate Tai Chi class follows immediately after at 10 a.m. Classes are hosted in Room B.
Classes are scheduled each Saturday morning the library is open through the end of 2016 and are led by certified instructor Chock Petchprom. The goal for the classes is to improve balance and coordination, reduce stress and anxiety, promote joint health and help participants develop and improve muscle strength.
Either teens or adults may participate. Registration is not required.
