Free Zumba classes spicing up Thursday evenings

Woman byClckerFreeVectorImagesThe Moore Public Library, a longtime favorite for exercising your mind through reading, also gives chances to exercise your body with its free weekly Zumba classes.

Classes are scheduled at 6 p.m. on Thursday evenings the library is opened. In November, the classes are set for Nov. 3, 10 and 17. The workouts feature high-energy Latin and International music that combine dance and exercise movements.

Teens ages 12 and up or adults may participate, although a signed waiver is required before each class. Anyone under age 18 must have parent or guardian consent by signing the waiver.

The classes are made possible through the Health Literacy Grant by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma Literacy Resource Office and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
