Learn the art of Tai Chi with the Moore Public Library in two sessions of its weekly free classes – a Beginner's Tai Chi class at 9 a.m. on Saturdays, and an Intermediate Tai Chi class that follows immediately after at 10 a.m.
Sessions are scheduled each Saturday in February, on Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25.
Classes are led by certified instructor Chock Petchprom. The goal for participants is to improve balance and coordination, reduce stress and anxiety, promote joint health and help them develop and improve muscle strength.
Either teens or adults may participate. Registration is not required in advance, although a signed waiver is required before each class. Anyone under age 18 must have parent or guardian consent by signing the waiver.
