Learn the art of Tai Chi with the Moore Public Library in a six-week series that will focus on arthritis pain and fall prevention.
The Beginner's Tai Chi sessions will be at 9 a.m. and Intermediate Tai Chi classes at 10 a.m. on March 4, 11, 18 and 25, and April 1 and 8.
Classes are led by certified instructor Chock Petchprom. The goal for participants is to improve balance and coordination, reduce stress and anxiety, promote joint health and help them develop and improve muscle strength.
Either teens or adults may participate. Registration is not required in advance, although a signed waiver is required before each class. Anyone under age 18 must have parent or guardian consent by signing the waiver.
