The Moore Public Library, along with the American Red Cross, are getting families ready for anything they might face, emergency-wise, with its program Red Cross Pillowcase Project: Disaster Preparedness, at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, in Rooms A and B.
Representatives from the Red Cross will work with participants and teach them about the Pillowcase Project, as a means to be prepared when an emergency may arise.
Children will receive a pillowcase, glow stick, whistle and crayons, plus a preparedness workbook full information on fire, storm and winter safety.
Space and supplies are required, so registration is encouraged in advance to attend. All ages are invited.
