Get safety tips for storm season from the Red Cross

Red Cross logoThe Moore Public Library, along with the American Red Cross, are getting families ready for anything they might face, emergency-wise, with its program Red Cross Pillowcase Project: Disaster Preparedness, at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, in Rooms A and B.

Representatives from the Red Cross will work with participants and teach them about the Pillowcase Project, as a means to be prepared when an emergency may arise.

Children will receive a pillowcase, glow stick, whistle and crayons, plus a preparedness workbook full information on fire, storm and winter safety.

Space and supplies are required, so registration is encouraged in advance to attend. All ages are invited.
