The Moore Public Library is giving back to the community with its teen project “Socks for Seniors,” at 2 p.m. Monday, July 24.
Participants ages 12 to 17 are invited to use provided supplies to make no-slip socks. The completed socks will be donated to residents at Featherstone Assisted Living Community. A few of the seniors from the center will visit during the program to help make some of the socks themselves.
The event is part of the library’s Teen Summer Reading Program, “Build a Better World.” Space is limited, so registration is required in advance to attend.
