Make music in weekly summer story times

Musical notesMusic is in the air at the Moore Public Library and new weekly Music Movers Story Time taking place as part of its Summer Reading Program at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays during June and July.

Featured performers and the dates they’ll be at the library in June are:

June 5Ben and Dan from the band Plain Speak share their skill with electric guitars and sound effects;

June 12 – The Thunder Drummers will be here for a show, Q and A, and we'll have a special “Dads, Doughnuts and Drums” activity;

June 19Mike Hosty, the “One Man Band,” will bring a collection of silly songs;

June 26Tippi Toes Dance Studio will share dance moves and books and music about dancing;

Activities are geared to children ages 3 to 11. Registration is not required to attend any of the events.

Check the library’s calendar for children’s events taking place most days during the summer and spend some time going through the library’s collection of books for young readers.
