family treeThe Moore Public Library gives genealogy researchers a chance to further their knowledge of their family’s history with the program “Starting Right with Genealogy Research,” at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12.

Kathryn Ramsay, Genealogy and Local History Librarian for the Pioneer Library System, will lead the class. She will help beginners search for genealogical information and establish family connections to provide a solid foundation in building a family tree. Registration is required to attend the workshop.

For those who can’t make the program, Ramsay will be at the library from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 26, to take individual genealogy questions on a first-come, first-served basis.
