The Moore Public Library announces its schedule for free computer classes for July. Each class takes place in the Computer Training Center of the library.
Registration is required for each individual class. To register, call the library, visit the library, or register online by clicking on a class that piques your interest.
The schedule for July features:
July 7, 9:30 a.m.: Computer Basics – An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
July 14, 9:30 a.m.: Internet Basics Part 1 - An introduction to the internet. Learn basic browser and toolbar functions and practice web surfing.
July 21, 9:30 a.m.: Instagram Basics – Introduction to the smartphone-based social networking app Instagram, which allows for taking and uploading photos directly from a smartphone. Download the app, practice taking and posting photos, and learn the basics of this popular app. Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
July 28, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Microsoft Excel 2010 Part 1 – Basic introduction to the spreadsheet software Microsoft Excel 2010. Includes creating a simple worksheet. Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
