Build and code the Kano computer at teen program

Newcastle area teens can learn the steps to building and coding their own computer at the Kano Computer series, a three-week program beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, and continuing at the same time the next two Saturdays, Sept. 19 and 26, at the Newcastle Public Library.

Participants age 12 to 17 will learn about Kano computer kits, and begin the steps to building games, making music or creating a drawing program, all with a computer kit they can build themselves.

The program is made possible thanks to a grant of the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Supplies for the programs are limited, so registration is required to attend.

The program is currently FULL, but you can join the waiting list for this popular program!
