The Newcastle Public Library's selection of monthly book discussion groups include a variety of ages and genres.
The library hosts its Brown Bag Book Discussion for adults 18 and up at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. The group is discussing The Mistletoe Promise by Richard Paul Evans in a holiday-themed selection for this month's discussion. Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library's circulation desk.
Group members are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Refreshments will also be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
The library's Teen and Tween Book Clubs also host their monthly meetings Thursday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m. The tween group is for ages 9 to 12 while the teen group is for ages 13 to 17. Each group features a related activity, discussion and snacks provided by the Newcastle Friends.
Registration is not required to be part of any of the discussions.
