The Newcastle Public Library welcomes school-age children to spend part of their Friday for various afternoon activities, each starting at 2 p.m.
The April schedule features:
April 13 – STEAM It Friday: Explore science and basic engineering with the use of K’Nex building systems.
April 20 – Book-N-Cook: With inspiration from the book Bee-Bop Bim by Linda Sue Park, participants will then make their own version of the popular Korean dish. Supplies are provided thanks to the Newcastle Friends of the Library.
April 27 – Crafts for School-Age Children: Celebrate spring by making an assortment of suncatchers using supplies provided by the Newcastle Friends of the Library.
Registration is required separately for each of the programs.
