Science Museum Oklahoma merges learning and fun in library activity

SRP logoOnce again, the scientific sounds and fascinating facts of Science Museum Oklahoma will come to the library for the Summer Reading Program.

SMO presents the program “Rockin’ Out with Science,” at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Newcastle Public Library.

It’s a look at what makes music really music, taking a look at the science behind sound in an interactive activity. The program is geared to ages 11 and under and their caregivers. Registration is not required in advance.

The Science Museum also will be in hometown libraries for activities for teens as well as adults this summer. Check the library calendar or at the library for dates and times of those activities.
