Share a story with a new furry friend

dog with bookThe Newcastle Public Library’s therapy dogs are available for young readers to make a new friend while practicing their reading.

Maggie, Riley, Sadie, and Bubba won't judge if you read slowly or make a mistake. They just love listening to a good story. You may bring a book from home or pick one from the library shelves.

Timeslots for children ages 4 to 13 to read to a dog can be reserved at the library or by calling 387-5076.
