Noble Public Library

The Noble Public Library is giving members of the community a chance to work out both mind and body with several series of activities taking place both inside and outside of the library.
Resistance Bands: 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the Noble Senior Center – The 30-minute workout strives to build and maintain strength through the use of resistance bands that will be provided to participants. Classes are offered thanks to the support of the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.
Tai Chi for Balance: 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the Noble Senior Center – The 12-week series will teach eight different positions for Tai Chi users of any level of mobility. Classes are offered with the help of the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative.
Gentle Yoga: 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays in the Ina Byerly Activity Room of the library. All ages and fitness levels will learn beginning Yoga poses. There will be modifications for anyone who needs it, and mats will be provided. This program is presented thanks to funds from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma Literacy Resource Office and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Registration is required in advance separately for each of the classes.
