book jacket for The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk KiddThe Noble Public Library’s Cover 2 Cover book discussion group gets back together at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 9 to discuss The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.

Traces more than three decades in the lives of a wealthy Charleston debutante who longs to break free from the strictures of her household and pursue a meaningful life; and the urban slave, Handful, who is placed in her charge as a child before finding courage and a sense of self.

The discussion group is for ages 18 and up and meets on the second Thursday of the month. Potluck refreshments are available following each discussion.
