Become a character at teen events

book jacket for Dungeons & Dragons The legend of DrizztDelve into the world of gaming at Norman Public Library Central’s Dungeons and Dragons Character Creation Workshop, at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Experienced and beginning players are invited to learn unique twists to creating their own characters for Dungeons & Dragons games. The program is for teens in grades 7 - 12.

Once you have a character, join us for People vs Boardom, next meeting from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. Pizza and snacks are provided free of charge by the Friends of the Norman Library. Most tables run 3.5 ed. or 5 ed. sessions.

Character creation goes even further with a Costuming Workshop at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. Create a superhero costume from supplies provided by the library and bring a solid-color T-shirt to alter into a cape. The workshop is for teens going into grades 6 - 12 and registration is requested.
