Explore with library’s Music MakerSpace camp

Do you love the world of music? The science of building and the art of music are combining to create a special three-day event for tweens ages 10 to 12 at Norman Public Library Central. The library hosts a Music MakerSpace at 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 5-7. The event takes place in Rooms A and B of the library.

Plans should be made to attend all three days, and space for the program is limited to 25 children. Register online to secure your place, because you won't want to miss out!

Participants will learn about heroes of the music world, explore how instruments are made and why they make the sounds they do, craft their own instrument and, finally, make some music together.
